Your RuckCoin wallet
This app holds the keys to your coins. Think of your address as a mailbox number. People send RUCK to it. Only this wallet can open that mailbox. It does not need the public internet to open.
Waiting for the node on this computer. The wallet is the window. The node is the engine in the next room. They talk on this PC only — not through a website. Open 3 Start Node from your RuckCoin desktop folder, then click Retry.

What the numbers mean
You can spend is money that is fully yours now. Still waiting is usually coins from a brand-new mined block — they unlock after more blocks are added. That is normal, not a bug.
- Receive Copy your address and give it to someone (or to yourself as a test).
- Send Pay a K address. Sends cannot be undone.
- Look up Paste a block number, a payment id, or a K address to see what the notebook says.
- Mine Optional. Creates new coins if you find a block. You do not need to mine to use this wallet.

Give people this address. It always starts with K. If someone sends to an address that starts with R, that is Ravencoin — those coins will not arrive here.
You can have more than one address. They all belong to this wallet. Use a new one if you want a fresh mailbox. Old ones still work.
Pay someone
Send RUCK
Paste the other person’s K address and an amount. There is no undo and no bank to call.
You are offline. You can still write the payment on this computer. The other person will not see it until you allow other computers again in Settings.
Double-check the first letter is K. Never send because a stranger in a chat told you to.

Look something up
This is a simple explorer. Paste a block number (like 337), a long payment id, or a K address. You are reading the same book every node keeps.

Assets
An asset is a named token on the same chain — a ticket, a membership, an item. RUCK is still the money you use for fees.
Create a new name
First person to create a name owns it. That costs 500 RUCK, which is burned (nobody can spend it, including you). You also get a special owner token called NAME!.

Mining, in plain words
Mining is how new RUCK is created. Computers guess at a hard puzzle. The one that finds the answer writes the next page of the notebook and is paid 5,000 RUCK. You do not need to mine to receive, hold, or send coins.

Try on this computer
This makes a short attempt with your CPU. On KAWPOW that is usually too slow to win. It is here so you can see the steps, not to get rich.
Faster mining (graphics card)
Serious mining uses a GPU miner pointed at your node and your address. After public launch we will publish exact steps. For the private test, use the Mine button in your RuckCoin desktop folder if you already set that up.

Settings
The wallet does not store the whole chain. It asks your local node. These boxes tell it where that node is. Leave them as they are if you used the RuckCoin desktop starters.
Stay off the internet
This wallet never sends your keys or balance to our servers. It only talks to the node on this computer. If you also want that node to stop talking to other people’s computers, turn this on.
Works without internet: see your address, see the last balance this computer knows, make a new address, prepare a send.
Needs a connection later: actually hear about new incoming payments, and have a send show up for the other person. Those wait until you turn the internet back on.
